Bitcoin Is The Great Next Tool For Human Evolution

When you think of evolution – what do you imagine?

A giraffe πŸ¦’ with a long neck to harvest leaves from a tree 🌴? A watermelon πŸ‰ without seeds?

I doubt that the first thing you think of is how sound money is a tightrope between man and our future form, but it is worthwhile to explore the idea.

On the physical front, humans are rather weak in comparison to other animals. What makes us special is our mental capacity, and our ability to manipulate our environment. The creation and use of tools are an essential element of human evolution. The shape and structure of the human hand, for example, was directly influenced by our use of stone tools. Not only have tools played a role in our physical evolution, but they play a role in our cultural evolution and have cascading influence on our being as a whole.

Furthermore, tools are not just a prop that a human can use. They are extensions of ourselves. This includes everything from a rock to the cellphone or computer screen that you are reading this from right now.

We, as humans, become better at survival with better tools at our disposal – and one of the most integral tools of a society is money.

In order to acquire a good or a service, you need to trade your own goods or services for it. Being that this is extremely inconvenient, humans use the tool of money – a way to store your work in time, and to transact with people who do not want your specific service as a direct trade. Sound money removes the dimension of time from the trading of work. I can do work now, and trade the money I earn at a later date. The value of work completed should not change from the rate agreed upon when money was exchanged for the service.

Inflation of fiat devalues ones work with time, while Bitcoin respects ones work with respect to time.

Bitcoin is sound and moral money.

For the first time in human history an asset exists that is provably scarce, censorship resistant, decentralized, and digital. Bitcoin is the first real money that is suitable for a global society. It has earned itself a spot on the toolbelt of humans alongside things like mathematics and the internet. How will this alter the trajectory of human civilization and evolution?

Most people do not realize how many defective aspects of society are simply a symptom of bad money.

Hyperinflation, diminishing wages, consumer prices, banking crisis, wealth inequality, and the list goes on. And on. And on. How can society evolve into something greater under such conditions?

It can’t. A sound money is a prerequisite to a truly free market. It is a prerequisite to an equal playing field. Sound money is such an important tool to humans that it is a prerequisite for society to self-actualize and to ascend into something greater.

Humanity can aim to become something greater by empowering the individual, and allowing individuals to self-actualize through competition. A great society requires an equal playing field – and Bitcoin is the great equalizer. With a Bitcoin standard, competition will flourish, and society will be rewarded.

Bitcoin is the next great tool for human evolution.
