Fears have roots in false certainties.

The mother of all fears, Death, is pretty much an unknown. Fear breeds from the refusal to embrace that unknown.

The Hero sees that. And then realises that Life is also an unknown.

He realizes that there is no point in refusing the unknown.

That embracing the unknown is the core mechanism of Life.

He sees that learning, growth and food for the Soul is only found in the unknown.

We humans love Art, because the Artist merges the unknown with the known through creative action. We see that merging, whether we recognize it consciously or not. Through painting, singing or dancing, the artist channels the unknown into something we can see, feel, and enjoy. In our Soul.

We can see this dance in a basic vital function of our daily life. Sleep. Everyday we slip into the unknown. When we refuse to let go completely and embrace sleep for too long, we get angry, nasty, and tired. We make more mistakes.

The Hero recognizes the dance, and decides to become the dancer. He knows he may die dancing and fighting for what he believes is right. But he's also aware that this is part of the Beautiful Dance we call Life.

To the Hero, refusing to take part would be worse thant Death. It would be utter disrespect to what he loves and values. It's out of love for his family, friends, and children, that the Hero is willing to risk it all. To put it all on the line to see his dream come true.
